Victoria Browne draws on the language of printmaking and appropriates material research to explore post-digital print processes. As the Associate Professor of Printmaking and Drawing at the Kunsthøgskolen I Oslo, she is currently researching reduction to multi-plate printmaking.

Her studio practice is influenced by the British Arts and Crafts movement and her richly coloured linocuts, bordering on abstract expressionism, take inspiration from suburban topiary and chintz in the home. By identifying with a preoccupation for comfort and control, Training Nature reflects the pruning and shaping of our own personal constructs.

She is also the founder of KALEID editions and (re)presents European-based artists who do books; whose publications are acquired by leading institutions for academic research and future public access.
